I umpire footy, I know how hard it is and as such I am very reluctant to criticise any umpire. But seriously these blokes need to have a good hard look at themselves.

There was one against a North player today (I think) for hitting a bloke in the guts in a tackle. You watch the media cut crook about it eventually but they're the fuggwits that have driven all the recent changes.

Is it the Umps or the rules thats the problem?

Buck stops with the AFL they give the directives, they are out of touch with the paying public.... umm, you know the paying customers. Do that in any business at your own peril.

I couldn't agree more with this post. If the AFL was in competition with another version of the AFL, they would be attempting to meet the paying public's needs. As it is, they can do whatever they want and treat us with contempt, What we need is some clubs to cut loose of the AFL and go their own way and set up a rogue league and we might get some action!

Impressed with Brisbane again today, came from behind and were running away. Port next week in Brisbane will be a good match

Just saw the frees against O'Meara and Cicily. Oh dear.. :?

Have enjoyed the first few weeks from the Saints. Ok we haven't beaten much, but playing a more direct style (Bruce fit and firing has been huge) and actually showing a bit of passion/care is a decent starting point after last year's tripe.

Alex Sexton leads the Coleman Medal after round 2.

Go home AFL, you're drunk.

Port, WB and the Saints are in the top 8. I would. I would suggest the AFL is on more than a few beers.

Brisbane have been very good and were building to this last year. They'll be tough to beat up there and if they get a couple more away then crickey look out they could make the 8.

Surely Geelong aren't a chance of sneaking a win against the mighty adelaide crows this week?

The Cox suspension and the O'Meara and Sicily free kicks could be the worst cases of MRO and umpiring the game has ever, ever seen.

If Hocking in any way comes out and defends any of these incidents it will be the last straw for many people and that bloke in that role. Collingwood must appeal that one game sanction and Hawthorn must ask for a please explain from the umpires.

Port gave Gawn a few bumps off the ball last week and Goodwin/Melbourne basically get told the umpires got it wrong, I can't wait to hear what they say about the O'Meara and Sicily free kicks.
