The centre I manage up for a national award Thursday at a function in the darling harbour. Not expecting to win, up against 4 quality centres but to be nominated in the top 5 of over 1500 applicants I’m pretty happy.

Then Friday to Sunday in Sydney for major fitness conference, lots to learn and lots of after hour ‘networking’

The missus is going to Sydney for the week after Anzac Day, then work asks if want the Friday off.

I then decided to take most of the following week off too, the wife asks "why are you taking leave while I'm away? No one will be here"

We saw a fair bit. Have a hire car so did quite a bit of driving. Port douglas, innisfail, mossman, Atherton table lands etc. Also got rat arsed every night too and body is in shut down mode.

It's on our to-do list, the father in law goes up there every 2nd year with his brother.

Only a short holiday this time around. Could only wrangle 9 days more off in what is a pretty hectic next 6 weeks with a couple of back to back footy weekends in Melbourne.

Nice. We're off to China in a few weeks. Not sure if it will be my thing but we'll see.

China is awesome. Can be a little chaotic for some but a bit of patience and you will be fine.

Nice. For your first time in China a tour is a good idea. Good value for money and you will get to see some pretty cool scenery and attractions.
