With 8 votes in 3 games, yes, he's a danger alright.

He's at 4's, always an obvious selection first up, would be on at least 7 so far, does have the disadvantage of good players around him, Tim Kelly would've polled a couple of times already too, possibly BOG round 1, Danger to get the 1 vote.

Sydney (A), St Kilda, Richmond, Hawthorn, Gold Coast (A), West Coast (A), GWS, Adelaide, Collingwood before the bye.

I'll give them St Kilda and Gold Coast, none of the others.

Will win their next 5 IMO
They are doing ok in a lot of areas but get scored against far too easy. If they tidy that up the results will start coming.

Think they have trouble up front aswell if they keep bombing it long, as it's Weidemann or bust .. Against better defence's than Essendon they won't score much. Have some good players on the injury list but they could still be well behind on the W-L count by the time they're ready. Lose to Sydney this week and I reckon it's curtains.

Wouldn't be surprised if Bont is on 8 or 9 also. Chucked a small EW Hail Mary wager on Libba at $151 yesterday too

If they beat Sydney 1-3, beat St Kilda 2-3 then I don't see them beating either Richmond or Hawthorn, beat GC, 3-5 and lose the nest 4. Maybe 3-9 at the turn or 5-7 if they roll the Hawks and Richmond.

We know that their best is very good IF they can find it. We also know that they're Melbourne and can shoot themselves in the foot at any given moment. I wouldn't write a win against St Kilda (or GC for that matter) down in Biro on current form either btw. It does indeed look a very tough and unlikely road from here.

Bont's at 21's, has the ball magnet Macrae to deal with though. Despite losing yesterday, they probably had the 3 BOG's, the umps will have to give it to a Suns player though.

The only win I can half see for Melbourne is V Richmond

.... plus Short, who would be in their top 10 players. Port won't want to drop this one.

Should only be one, reckon you could argue it wasn't medium force quite easily.

Anyway's don't think we will challenge it, time to let Dusty go see his old man across the ditch for a week then get him to come back & hope he's refreshed & ready to work hard again & get back to his best.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Confirmed Cotchin out for 2-3 & Short for 8+ most likely. Houli doubtful to return & they will need to bring Caddy back despite only playing just over a half last week.

100% of the leadership group out this week, lads will pull straws to see who gets to captains us.

Nothing surprises me anymore
The AFL and their farcically inconsistent reporting and tribunal system is a JOKE

The Knob Elbows a bloke to the head BEHIND the play and only gets 1 match ???

What deterrent or message is that saying to kids playing the game?

Could go on and on and on but whats the point?

That's ok, he'll miss this week and play against the Swans the week after. George Hewitt will tag him and he'll lose his shit and get done again. His coach and manager whingeing about him not being protected has only made things worse for him.
