Danger.

With 8 votes in 3 games, yes, he's a danger alright.

Was thinking of trying to come up with something witty but being a Monday and along with hating the world today, it just wasn't happening.

That's all right, Booney couldn't either. ;)

It was 6 games before applying the “superstar” deduction, “big 4 club” deduction and “Dusty” deduction.

The traditional big 4 are Collingwood, Essendon, Carlton and Richmond.

Surely Hawthorn nudge out one of those as the "big 4"?

When I think about it, most clubs have got a leg up from the league one way or another over the past few years, Fremantle being the exception, I think they've had the roughest deal all-round out of all the 18 sides.

A few clubs have been bailed out financially, there was the "free kick Hawthorn" thing, the West Coast home game umpiring, FNF favouritism, Buddy & Tippettgate, Collingwood's annual fixture just off the top of my head.

As a Dusty fan, I think he should've got more than 1, it doesn't send a good message.

It’s an old term given to those 4 clubs and there is more to it than success. Those 4 clubs still have a stack of support regardless of on field success. It would be interesting to see what happens to the Hawks support when/if they have another lean patch

RICHMOND superstar Dustin Martin has been fined $2500 for his controversial pair of hand gestures towards Greater Western Sydney players during a fiery encounter on Saturday.

AFL.com.au understands Martin has been fined a total of $7500, with $5000 suspended until the end of 2020, for raising his middle finger towards a Giants player and then appearing to imitate snorting drugs.

It has been alleged that Martin made the second hand gesture towards Giants ruckman Shane Mumford, who was returning from a two-game suspension after a video surfaced of him snorting a white powder late last year.

Martin apologised for his gestures on Wednesday afternoon, saying on Twitter: "Frustrating one on the weekend. I understand my reaction is not a good look for the game. I apologise for my actions. Thanks."

The AFL issued a 'please explain' to Martin for the hand gestures on Monday, with the 2017 Brownlow Medal winner forced to provide a written response by Tuesday evening.

It was a frustrating weekend for Martin, who was also suspended for one game after intentionally elbowing Adam Kennedy in an incident that occurred around 80m from the ball.
