I was on the street outside NBC studies in NYC about six years ago, stopped at a hotdog cart, the guy ordering in front of us was none other than Adam Richman from Man v Food. Had a great yarn while waiting for the chili and onions and he chucked some great places to eat in NYC in my phone for the six days we had left. Couldn't have been a nicer guy.

Met a few cricket luminaries;

Don Bradman
Rod Marsh
Steve Waugh
Darren Lehmann (spent a bit of time in hospital together when our kids were born prematurely)

Russell Crowe and Gary Sweet (wanker) are a couple of others

Good friends with Teresa Palmer from our time together at a private college.

Dad is good mates with Jimmy Barnes from their time at boys tech together. Used to drink together at our childhood house.

Met Delta Goodrem at a range of centrals events.

A range of current and ex AFL and A League players I went to school / played with.

A couple of mates in the last year have ended up on reality tv shows last year including Survivor and MAFS

Nice thread.
Have had a few run-ins with work travel and such:
Tim Cahill in the Adelaide Qantas Club
Tommy Lee on a flight from Perth- funny guy, wouldn't let me get a photo :(
A lot of AFL teams from various cities
Shane Crawford prior to his run from Adelaide- has plenty of time for everyone.
Most hawks players at training sessions in Melbourne over the years have been nothing short of awesome with my little fella.
Pennywise- snagged backstage passes to their most recent tour. Brilliant blokes who genuinely chatted to you about anything. Talking parenting with one of my punk idols (Jim) over a beer was surreal (see image)
Saw a few stars at a red carpet event in Hollywood back in 2006, including the late Robin Williams (was the launch of 'Man of the Year')

Sure there are some more..

Still dances around every where but not in the little outfits he used to wear lol. Its really unusual seeing him in his hi vis gear.

Played golf with Rowey a couple of times thru a mutual friend, threw his putter into the dam at Wirrina after a missed putt.

Not a celebrity as such but my FIL's best mate is Ian Aitken, the old SANFL commentator, get to have a few drinks with him regularly, he has some awesome stories about all the golden days on SANFL, some Rick Davies ones

Now work with Travis Dodd.

Met Matty Hayden at his book signing a few years ago. Grabbed a hug from him while having my pic taken. Made my wife laugh, as she knew how unhealthy my Haydos obsession was.
I apologise.

My top 3 celebs that knew me on a first name basis
Booney
Daryl Cotton
Terry Jenner

Sadly only one of those stars is still alive
I met Terry and Daryl at Angle Park dogs last century
Terry a very very funny man, with lots of yarns
Daryl , well you could not believe he was a rock star , a very humble and sincere bloke
I once bowled a full over to Booney in a cricket match , he was that good I couldnt get him out
