Poor old Noddy. The longer a coach stays at Adelaide FC the worse it becomes.

Looks as though the last few years has finally taken it's toll on the Crows.

On field the loss of Dangerfield, Lever, Cameron and McGovern has added to the player exodus from years prior and the scars of the Grand Final don't appear to have healed, in part because of the next bit.

Walsh, impossible to measure the toll that took on the players, Bailey, again, impossible to know how that impacted upon them, Jacobs, Walker and Sloane had their personal tragedies last year and the fall out from the Collective Minds debacle didn't help.

Put aside the footballers we all like/dislike for a moment and look at them as people, they must be exhausted. If you worked somewhere where the boss was murdered, his mate and confidant lost an all too brief battle with cancer and two of your colleagues lost babies you too would be hurting. You too would be drained.

Clearly they brought Sloane in to the dual captaincy to help Walker who carried so much for so long, off field especially, but they really look cooked, mentally and emotionally.

Well it was only the 2nd time Ive seen us play this year, mind you I don't think we were that good on Saturday, just gutsed it out more than the Crows did. Hope it gives a bit of confidence and they can improve further cause we are going to have to.

Agree with that comment. I picked Kangaroos, and during first half was thinking what a terrible pick, they were just horrid. Obviously turned it around, and Crows are very ordinary, but both need to improve immensely!

Really honest and fair post when you think about the above it does put it in to perspective that's for sure, it is after all only a game.
