People are saying "sack Longmire", but I don't agree with that personally. The responsibility has to be put on the players to a point, simple skill errors, poor decision making and so many broken tackles.
Longmire has done good job considering the youth we have had to "blood" over the past few years, rebuild on the run and have continued to make the 8.

We are due for a down season, and something I haven't experienced for some time. But with the young talent we have I don't think we will be down for long, and it's only round 4. So a slow start isn't something new.

Heeney, Florent, Hewett, Mills, Llllllloooooyyyd, Cunningham and Blakey are all quality, a couple of them potential stars, but they're all the same flavor. There's no big men in that lot and the likes of McVeigh, Kennedy, Reid, Franklin, Jack and co. have their best football behind them.

Seems to be a dearth of 23-26 year olds and KPP in Sydney's list, granted I don't really know what's running around in their NEAFL unit.
Blakey is a 195cm forward mate, probably slightly different to who you mentioned. I would suggest has the key forward they are looking for.

For the swans the keys is getting the best out of Heeney and Mills and ensure they develop. They are both excellent talents and should be working through the midfield.

I think it's clear I have no love for Sydney but there young crop c olming through looks better than a few other sides out there.

195cm and 80kg isn't a big man, in fact he's 12-15kg's from being in the big man category, that's a long way off.

Yes I am stoked we've lost GF's... Far from easily satisfied (I am sure there is a joke in their somewhere). Of course flags are the most important thing, but I am also realistic, that their is 22 players in the team. He has won multiple games of his own boot. And a main reason we reached those GF's. 2014, he was easily our best player that day (which wouldn't have been hard) and in 2016 he rolled his ankle in the first 5 minutes and played injured...

If the deal has seen the club lose Nankervis, Mitchell and to a lesser extent Jetta and Hannebery* and not win a flag has it been worth it?

*Was probably not required given his body was falling apart.
