so there was 14 teams who couldn't kick 80 points this round in perfect conditions. 2 teams cracked the ton
The game has massive issues, skills of the players being the main issue. Wont matter what rule changes are made if they cant hit targets.

Carlton will get a priority pick

I can’t see them winning a game
Dave Warner will be missed!

Yep. They'll never get rid of GC or GWS though, maybe go 16 a side with 3 on the bench. Gets rid of 54 players not up to the standard and boosts the local comps.

Yep, had the same thought about the 80 point barrier when looking through the scores.

In the SANFL 3/10 exceeded the 80 mark, while 2/10 did in the WAFL (not sure if weather a factor there).

So a combined 9/38 in those 3 leagues. Awful.

Geelong champion Gary Ablett and Carlton midfielder Matt Kennedy have been embroiled in the Instagram scandal that is set to end Israel Folau’s rugby career.

Ablett and Kennedy were two of nearly 39,000 people who liked Folau’s controversial homophobic post which said gay people are going to hell unless they repent.

The Herald Sun reports that Ablett removed his like on Sunday, with the Cats unaware of his interaction with Folau’s post.

The dual Brownlow medallist is a devout Christian who has been active on Instagram with his religious beliefs in the past, as well as open with the media throughout the second half of his illustrious career.

Ablett prayed before games during his time at the Gold Coast Suns, along with Aaron Hall and Zac Smith.

Former Giant Kennedy is also a practicing catholic.

Rugby Australia is set to terminate Folau’s lucrative $4 million contract in the coming days.

To be fair the AFL gave Gold Coast, Fremantle and St Kilda a chance to start the year off :

Gold Coast had - St Kilda, Fremantle, Bulldogs, Carlton

Fremantle had - North, Gold Coast, St Kilda, West Coast

St Kilda had - Gold Coast, Essendon, Fremantle, Hawthorn

The fact they've shared the wins around among themselves couldn't have worked out any better.

St Kilda beat the Gold Coast, Gold Coast beat Fremantle, Fremantle beat St Kilda.

Exactly, spot on.

Saints all tight games, could well have been 0-4 and Richo be sacked within weeks!

As the scoring gets lower, so will the margins.

The fixture has been crafted to do this early.

Richmond, Collingwood, Geelong, Melbourne, West Coast all played one of the other.

Gold Coast, St Kilda, Fremantle, Carlton all played one of the other.

Port, Brisbane, North, Bulldogs all played one of the other.
