Nice.

Delicious with a nice fresh garden salad.

And a glass of red?

Me too, but I push through the pain barrier, they’re only brain cells.

Including today, I work 6 of the next 17 days and only lose 4 annual leave days.

A 4 day week, then two 2 day weeks.

Great win HH3! Only the 4th junior win in history at the Nationals. Must have been your influence
Well defense did ball out.

I recommend watching the game because it was one of the most intense games Ive been involved in.

Heart attack city at the end.

Our local cafe is all about community, sustainability, reconciliation, everything that can and will make this world a better place.

They've got close ties with the Port Adelaide Football Club and in several weeks from now the cafe will host a BBQ luncheon for people in the area who need a little assistance. The BBQ is just a small part of the day as Miss Boon will be offering free haircuts to those who need them most and the club has arranged some tickets to the game that afternoon. Very proud of my girl.

The cafe has really developed and sense of community and the people who would once have been looked down upon by wider society are finding someone putting an arm ( or a blanket for the winter ) around them and making their lives a little better.

Very fulfilling seeing someone who once walked in the shadows standing a bit taller when they've got someone engaging them in conversation, they've got a full stomach and don't feel like they're doing it all on their own.
PAFC. Forever.

That's awesome story, you should be very proud of her.

Don't think we all do enough of this sort of stuff as get caught up in our own worlds (guilty of that!!).

The shop has been remarkably successful in bringing people together. Mid week they have walking groups, knitting clubs, gardening groups, baking days, all aimed at seniors who, in many cases, would otherwise be lonely housebound souls.

There's been some people gathering local history from the older citizens (as well as recipes that would otherwise be lost, they bake them regularly at the shop, too) to put into a book, it's a fantastic story and being involved, even in a small way, has been really satisfying.

Remember the days when you knew Mr and Mrs Whatstheirname from number 54, or Daniel and his brother around the corner whop you kicked the footy with after school on the road, it feels a bit like I'm in the 1980's again the way people are talking to and looking out for each other.

Stanley Cup Playoffs.
My favourite time of the year, love my NHL and playoffs go up several notches.
It’s hard getting work done though whilst watching or listening to games do I normally take a few days off especially if the Caps are lucky enough to make playoffs
