AFL Round 5. The footy Marathon begins.

Talk on the national game

The strange thing is that Port should have one by more. Honestly we were a disgrace last night. How we finished only 42 points down was staggering really. Should have been 60 - 70. Port completely dominated the game.

For me the biggest area we got killed was hard ball gets. They killed us, then they spread and took off.

Not sure if booney is alive after last night either.

Been questioning for years now why Port moved so far away from their 2014 brand, and last night reminded me a lot of that. Seriously dangerous when they play that way!

Agreed. But problem is, if it fails a few times, big margins, doubt creeps in and then its defence first.
Last night was going down memory lane of the Geelong era, of attacking the game, play on at all costs, loads of pressure.

Great first half by the Sainters then would of been nice if Billings could of finished that goal of just before half time to finish off a great half for him.

Melbourne have made alot of skill errors but really starting to notice the way the Saints are being alot smarter with the footy this year.

Tipped the Saints thinking it would be the upset that got me 9/9 cheers port and freo

Melbourne are actual gunk, defence is a shambles, midfield is slow and forwardline is led by Melksham

We have been first to the ball every time it hits the deck and our backline has held up when it came in. Also got on top with centre clearances that quarter.

Need to finish it off now in this last quarter and dont let a few cheapies go

The worst coached team in the league at the moment. I think Spargo called this one early. I can't think of another poster who saw through the Demon mirage.
