That would've been very very handy if Hawkins slotted that.

Reckon the Hawks have a good player in Mitchell Lewis when he gets a few more games into himself

Hawkins will cop weeks for that no doubt, nothing in it (yes he's dumb) but the AFL rape him every chance they can get.

Some of tthe umpiring has been very puzzling today. Twice Sicily caught in possession and the umpire allowed him to step over boundary line. If it's not holding the ball, surely it's deliberate. BTW, why are the Hawks supporters booing Ablett.

Wondered the same, maybe the ‘liking’ of the Folou tweet?

Ablett got booed in Adelaide a few weeks ago and does so at other venues

Yeah I get why they boo some champion players like Brereton and Carey because they were pretty aggressive and had a touch of arrogance as well as being brilliant. I don't see Ablett in the same light. He played well today, but at the moment he's probably not in the best 5 players for the cats. Given his history I just don't get the booing. Surely nothing to do with liking Folau's post?

He lost a lot of credit when he bailed on the Suns with years left on his contract

And then in the last qtr they were keen as mustard to insert themselves into the game (both ways). Just let them play.
