It’s part of the game.
Players make more mistakes than umpires.

You can live with umpires mistakes.
I can’t live with blatant cheating by the umpires

Do you honestly believe though that the umpires were given a direction or sat there and discussed they were going to give Collingwood all the 50/50 decisions on the day over Essendon.

Big difference between cheating and coincidental mistakes.

They weren’t 50/50 decisions.
There were 3 occasions where Collingwood players stopped as they knew it was a free against them and the umpires let it go.
Some of the non calls against Collingwood were that blatant that if it isn’t cheating they are blind and shouldn’t umpire another game regardless

The point still stands

Do you think the umps sat there and literally discussed favouring Collingwood with decisions.

Even the old biddies used to whack people at Alberton [emoji3]

Ha Ha, it wasn't just at Alberton!!

I was watching 1988 "the season that was" last night, nothing better was on, and about 30 mins in they're showing Bays v Port highlights from the Bay. Chris McDermott goes flying into the fence in front of the cricketers club and whiles he's on the ground an old Port "biddy" has leant over the fence and given him a serve, he's looked up at her (he might have said something) then she's leant over the fence and thrown 3 of the best overhand rights while he's trying to get up....

Classic!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Good old white maggots for ever
They know how to ruin the game
Side after side they screw forever
That’s their claim to fame
Angry fans they’re all shouting
And the champions are booed
The game we love’s become a mystery
Another free to Collingwood!
