We took HH3 Jnr to see The Lego Movie 2 on Saturday. Not as good as the first one, or the Batman one, but still a good movie. Some funny bits. Would be a bit confusing for youngsters, but once they explain it all at the end it should be ok.

If you think Everything Is Awesome got stuck in your head, they've stepped it up a notch this time.

I took my kids to the first Lego Movie and fell asleep, it was the worst animated movie I've seen, it just never seemed to end, each to their own.

Ha, I loved the first Lego Movie and watched it plenty of times. often without the kids. (Not sure I should be publicising that lol)
The Lego Batman movies also a good one. Mrs HH3 and I went to see if by ourselves during the week, then took HH3 Jnr when we had him on the weekend.

Kids movies?

Wreck It Ralph for the win. The sequel was a bit lame though. Big Hero 6 comes in second place.

For the worst, I suffered through the recent Teen Titans Go movie very much against my will, in order to placate both offspring. Never again.

WIR was excellent for us old former arcade tragics as it was for the kids.

The original Shrek was great for the time, as were the Toy Story's. Tangled is another I don't mind watching when the kids dust it off once a year.

It drove me insane, it just went around and around in circles.

You wouldn't dream of it but "Cars" was probably my favourite LOL.

The reason behind my username is when my lad was young he was fascinated by Lightning McQueen, he wanted to see him on TV or the computer whenever they were on, it made sense to use LM as a name and avatar so he'd sit on my lap and see his favourite.

When my eldest was just a bub, and for about 3 years following, I had to sit down and watch Cars with him virtually every single evening lol. Grated a bit at the time but when I look back now it's some of my happiest memories in life.

Yep my 2nd lad has been obsessed with Cars his whole childhood, has watched all 3 100 of times, despite now being a 12yo he found one of them on the Qantas app when we flew last weekend and watched it again.

The first two or three Shrek's I thought were good, not often they can keep up the standard, Cars 2 was a disappointment.

Clint is the master. Doesn't matter how many times I've seen it ; I still get goosebumps.

It's like watching my late father.

Speaking of Clint, has anyone watched "The Mule"? I started to but the copy I got became a bit distorted half way through, apparently my USB is a bot outdated.

It seemed to just go through the motions up to where I got, I couldn't really expect much differently though given the nature of the movie, I'm sure the back half will liven up.

2. The Hate U Got. THUG. Slow to start with but in the end a gritty story. Recommend.

Apparently it is a throwback to the first Iron Man when Stark was building his first suit.
