Talking with someone today about this Div and he was saying that SMOSH now have a group that sit on the hill beating drums, blowing trumpets etc to try put of the visiting teams while having a shot at goal.....didnt seem to help against Kilburn lol

Creates a great atmosphere that SMOSH hill. We played there last year when they were up and about bhind the southern goals and it added a bit, especially when the outer side literally has nobody. Ditto for the Mound Men at Kilburn.

Eastern Park used to have some great drum-beaters going back 10 or so years as well I reckon.

SMOSH had 36 shots to Kilburns 23 and lost. You would have to wonder about the logic. :D

I think the hill had a few too many cans by the start of the A grade and were confused, started putting SMOSH off.

Umpiring was probably the best we’ve had all year vs CLG. I thought both were excellent. Ex player Alex Haughey was one. Called the obvious ones, not over officiated, decisions were well communicated.

Jacks I wonder if you are the drunken twit caught on video saying they would run out and king hit the umpire if they could? I guess I should say thanks for supporting our bar.

There were a couple of errors as there are in every game but they were pretty good I reckon.

Was that around the 49 minute mark of the video shrekky? I thought I heard them words but wasn’t sure, very silly comment.

When you’re second to the ball consistently for 120 minutes you’re gonna get free kicks paid against ya.

Mate when you are a state captain and legend of the amateur league like me you get to know people.

Pretty bad form if you remark that you would like to king hit an umpire when you are sober. Not setting a good example for the kids there..

Yes 49:40 onwards is the free kick that was paid. Probably a lucky one for Shrekky but he missed out on a few so probably fair enough.

Shrek does what Shrek wants. You are far too suspicious about people sharing usernames FC. This forum ain’t that popular anymore.

Not a good look for umpires, regardless of the quality of said umpiring when you call the entire team by first name but not the oppostion. Doesn't exactly paint a picture of being fair and equal. I thought the umpiring could have been better but I'd consider how much you'd use first names when handing out free kicks.
