26,000 on Friday night, bringing the average for the year down again.

Now you've beaten St Kilda, Gold Coast, Fremantle and Port there's no reason to believe you'll lose another game from here.

Obviously im biased, but Ablett gets off due to insufficient force right?
Clearly its high and late which warrants a free but with no real forceful impact by looking at the replay.
The North player (Durdin?) who bumped Rohan better get off too - a perfect sheppard with unfortunate headclash, something most AFL players dont even bother with any more.

Ablett gets a week.
He used his get out of jail card last week and clearly didnt learn.

The North player should get off, great bump, Rohan just didnt have the awareness that he was coming and wasnt braced for impact. But the commentators were talking about a rule change that no matter what you do (legal bump), if a player suffers head injury from it you are liable?? Which is ridiculous, if correct

That’s still 10k+ more then a Victorian club with one of the biggest support base in the country.

A look at the crowds and to me the worse crowd was North v Geelong. 21K there and I would have thought 35K would be a minimum,

Was a very disappointing number at the G yesterday. I read a Tweet about it being Mothers Day, the 2:40 time slot and there being no Giants supporters there, which, granted, has some merit.

Then I thought about some Mother's Day games Port have hosted in recent memory against visiting clubs in the worst of the worst time slots, 4:10pm Sunday.

In 2015, against West Coast at 4:10pm we had 37,000.

In 2016, against Brisbane again at 4:10, we had 33,000.

Anyway you look at it that was pathetic from Hawthorn supporters yesterday. Pathetic.

You expect Geelong fans to "travel" on Mother's Day?

Not the ones who live in Geelong as they are the minority but the ones in Melbourne could have taken Mum to the footy. Kids get in for free as well.

I think Ablett gets off. Was less force than last week, will be another fine.

I wonder what can be salvaged from the umpiring debacle we're going through, do we go back to 2 umpires so there's less interpretation variances in each, there were some absolute shockers over the weekend.

How's the biggest f-up of the weekend, Friday night "Hey Dane, be a good boy and get down off there"

1: How stupid is Rampe?
2: How did he not award a free kick at the end of the square, I'd be filthy if I was an Essendon supporter and it cost me the finals, absolutely disgraceful umpiring, should be stood down for a month minimum.
