The Clare Valley is the best place for such tours but you can check these guys out.

I'm looking to take my American bro-in-law to the footy while he is here and the only game we can make it to us the Port v Geelong game on Saturday 22/6

I want him to have a great view of the game and a good experience... where should I buy seats and is there anything else I can sort for the night?

P.s we don't drink so no need for bars etc...

I thought about that but wouldn't it mean we miss heaps of the footy?

He has never seen a game and I thought it would be better to watch it in its entirety so I can point out talk a much better it is than NFL... (although I would only be antagonizing him because I love both games)

not the cheapest seats (around $110) in the house but anywhere on level 3 eastern stand is amazing... perfect vantage point IMO, not too far up the stands but close enough to still feel the game with a great view of everything

I sit on Level 2 of the Riverbank Stand, adjacent the Magarey Room, IMO there's no better seats in the house but I'd say most people who regularly sit in the same seat would say their seat is in the best spot.

Yeah just had a look on Ticketek and the Western stand 'black diamond' is level 3 (well bay 330-340 so I assume it's level 3) and they are $108...

That's the best viewpoint? Or should I just buy GA and watch from the hill?!?

My season tickets are in bay 338 black diamond Eastern Stand. I have sat in the western stand, on the hill, ground level and up the top of the stands and think that level 3 ( including Booneys seats) are the best. Great view, some protection from the weather with the right winds etc.

level 2 is in the western stand level with the coaches boxs...

That's Daisy country, where you staying, ill be sure to avoid it ;)
Not sure about wine tours but make sure you go to Saltrams (lunch), Yalumba, Lambert. Taste Eden Valley in the centre of Angaston is great, it has a heap of different producers from the Eden Valley region, its like going to 20 different cellar doors.
If you want to impress the mrs Vintners Bar and Grill for tea, fine dining at its best,
The Company Kitchen Sunday for brunch is highly recommended
