He calls him "Fant-asia", on Friday night Heppell ( and on Saturday Fantasia himself ) confirmed the pronunciation is "Fanta-sia".

BT, on MMM, said well "We're not in Italy, we're in Australia and here we pronounce it "Fant-asia" and we will continue to do so."

Wanker.

OK, yeah I heard them point out that we've been getting it wrong.

I guess we've had James floating around in the footy world for ages so we've become accustomed to it.

Fant-asia has said he pronounces it Fant-asia but his family pronounce it Fanta-sia.

Smith has been hobbled by a knee complaint for a few weeks and now looks like he is headed for surgery and will miss 6-8 weeks

Clearly not moving well and his tackle numbers were way down which was a sign.

Massive blow.

Was thinking about the Bombers a bit on the weekend, I reckon it wouldn't be the worst thing for them to get an ex-Bomber in charge and get back to "The Essendon Way", combining pace and excitement with the hard nose mongrels (think Johnson boys, Wallis, Duckworth, Merrett types).

Obviously the person in charge needs to be qualified and rated as a coach, outside of Hird would anyone fit that bill Jim?

If he's rated as a coach then thats probably a perfect fit?

Very rated and is the one coach that hasn’t been given the boot at the Suns.

Mark Harvey is there as an assistant. I'm not throwing Worsfold under the bus though.

Harvey is rubbish and has plenty to do with our issues. Worsfold, Harvey and Skipworth should be punted.

Yep, he is a dud.
Was the right person at the time as we needed a good people person to guide us through that difficult period but he has admitted he isn’t great game day and others will back that up. It doesn’t sit well with me that he splits his time between Melbourne and Perth and I think a head coach must have 100% buy in

Daniher out for the season.

Essendon worst fears have been confirmed, with star forward Joe Daniher ruled out for the rest of the season after another groin injury setback.

Bombers football manager Dan Richardson confirmed the news on Thursday morning, with surgery a likely outcome after consulting specialists and the club’s medical and high-performance teams.

Sounds almost identical to Brad Crouch. Joe reportedly wanted surgery last year and the fitness staff overruled him and now he is looking at a second year wasted
