However I have settled on more modern day players for the sake of the exercise.

1. Wanganeen. Freak even at 16 when he first played for Port in SANFL.
2. Franklin.
3. S Burgoyne
4. Goodes - as much as I don't care for the bloke
5. Cyril

Special mentions to Nicky Winmar, Michael Long & Peter Matera.

Mcleod while a damn good player, I did not include. I guess my memories of him, include him playing off half back when he couldn't shake a tag in the mids. It's difficult to shake a tag when you walk around the ground though!

Cyril is an interesting one. Very good player, but I see him in the o’loughlin group. In the sense they are very good but not in the mix in this discussion.

Fair Enough - I found the 5th one the hardest to determine.... yes I stayed close to what I know..... you could throw a heap of them in there & still be correct.

Polly Farmer and then daylight for me.

Of players I've seen easily Adam Goodes, used to love Michael Graham and Wilbur Wilson in the SANFL too.
Always love Eddie Bette's too.

Some great guernseys and ordinary ones, simple is better.
Crows is a great piece of art but awful football guernsey, too busy.

Brisbane the standout with Sydney and West Coast also fantastic.

Good: Geelong,Gold Coast, Nth Melbourne, St Kilda, Bulldogs

Ratshit: the rest. Especially disappointed with the Power as they had the best not long ago.

I agree with him this time. Not Port’s best effort this time around. They normally have one of the better ones

Stupid comment, on this very site I said when they had the best indigenous guernsey not long ago. Why would I have said that if I'm negative towards the Power? As a person of indigenous descent I have a lot of time for the Powers indigenous program as I think it's the best in the country.
And I will never forget 2007and be eternally thankful to them for that marvellous day ;)
