As Locky posted above England smashed Afghanistan by 9 wickets. England are definitely the favourites, such a dynamic team but we'll see how they go against, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa in a pressure match against world class bowlers.
On tonight is-
West Indies v New Zealand
West Indies currently 1/125 from 15 overs
Bangladesh v India
India currently 1/32 from 9 overs
Just 2 days until the real stuff, England v South Africa at the Oval on Thursday night

Really exciting World Cup ahead. Most even we have had for years, as an English fan it’s really exciting to go in as favourites and to see how our game stands up in the big moments. Australia will be really hard to beat but after Starc and Cummins not sure the bowling is as good as usual, Smith and Warner will be awesome though with the bat. I’m not sold on india, England has never been a good place for them to play but kohli is obviously a superstar as well as bumrah with the ball. The dark horses are the kiwis and windies, kiwis are always reliable in big tournaments without ever being good enough to win. The windies have a lot of batting talent and could make some big scores but not sure they can defend them. South Africa’s bowling might be the best in the cup but a lot rests on de cock, Amla and du plessis with the bat, the rest of the teams are just making up the numbers but hopefully they cause an upset or two.

All out for 421 with most getting good starts
The NZ bowlers took a pounding but none more so than Matt Henry 9 overs for 107
