Sometimes coaching a footy team in a loss is much more rewarding than a win, we took an under strength u16.5 team to Modbury yesterday who are top and smashing everyone, went down by 4 goals but really pushed them and gave them a bit of a scare in the last, every lad gave 100%, they were all caked in mud post game and you can't ask for anymore than that.

I have coached in 3 grand finals, 2 of them we won. The one i coached in a loss was probably more rewarding then the other two considering the group i had (sfl under 18's) and that not a single person gave us a chance of making it to the GF, but we were right in it till the last qtr... Really proud of that group.

It is strange, Ive been very lucky to have had some success in the last 2 years, this year I don't have the talent I've had previously and we are sitting 4th but I'm enjoying this year so much more.

Virginia Tech enter their ground to Enter the Sandman and sometimes have Metallica involved in American College Football. I'm not a Metallica fan but it's a sight to behold having 70000 people jumping up and down singing along. Worth a look if you're a Metallica fan.
