At 2 for little our shortage of bats is exposed. Maxwell at 5 is problematic...hes not there to bat long. Stoinis is the. Worst. Number. Six. In Oz ODI history.
If we lose another wkt in next ten overs then we are roasted.

Bloody weird pommy surveyors.

A lot of English grounds similar. Many of them started as just open paddocks and were between roads. As time went by the roads couldn’t be shifted so grandstands were built and due to lack of space they encroached on to the ground which gives them their unique shape
Trent Bridge has a pub just outside the gates on that short side!!!!

Done and dusted. We will not last the 50 overs. Heavily reliant on the top 4 to make runs. Three are gone.

Rest my case re Maxwell...showing why he will never play test cricket.
Now about to have stoinis also prove my point.

Australia Exposed at the first hurdle. Playing 4 batsmen and just 3 wkt taking bowlers...sprung.

Maxwell has zero game sense. Never had it.
Smith a class above. Seems to have more time to play.

Nah 6 wins will be enough to make the semis.

With some luck, 5 and a good net run rate might also do, although I consider that unlikely.

That’s what I meant. 6-3

Maxwell is a downhill skier.
We’ll make 248, could be enough if our frontline strike
