Well done to the under 21 lads who played against the men from Kangaroo Island finishing with a drawn game . The lads from KI had some monsters playing and am sure the young lads would benefit from the hit out .

Also the 15 side had a solid win in trying conditions , will this squad be the same that lines up against GSFL ?

Saturday say the debut of S Comer for Aldinga and by all accounts played well , I am sure Shane will give some leadership and experience to the lads but would be sure he wont be moving well today :D

Easy to blame coaches, how about the players take some off the blame/responsibility, these days when thing get hard players just disappear, don't train, happy to just have a kick with hardly any effort. Yes the Coach is the one running the ship but how many phone calls does he have to make, with empty promises from players, this is today's footy, clubs in all leagues are suffering the same issues, long term volunteers are at at their wits end, what is the answer, footy has gone downhill in the last 15 years, Lack of personal pride by players these days, not always the coaches fault.

Yeah true probably a harsh call about the coaches, I guess the problem there is a lot of players think that they are better than they really are , and at the end of the day if players don’t want to play football or be at a club because of the coach well maybe they should start moving the people out the door that wanted to keep the coach.

When was the last time Aldinga beat anyone apart from Hackham, OSB Lonsdale or Marion away from home?

Yeah they beat them last year, first time for 65 years or so. But it was at home, not that I think that matters at this level.

On a side note, does the SFL publish games online like the GSFL and AdFL?

A very good source and friend said today he was confident the last time Aldinga beat anyone else that is currently in the A Grade SFL comp away from home was when they beat Christie’s Beach @ Bice Oval around 2011. That’s just staggering if that’s the case.
*Edit-He’s slipping, they beat Cove away in 2016 too.
