18 Honey Badgers 2 7 0 18333 19177 95.60 8

Anyhow, have a Coniglio. No, not Paul Hogan flogging cancer sticks but a bitter refrain for anyone who didn't have the GWS midfielder who absolutely pulled one out of his arse to send results flying on their head. Somehow with this crazy variable in the scoring, most of the matches in Hogg premier were relatively close. This could not be said of the so-called match of the round where Benny Rolfs reinforced his dominance over the league with an absolute pantsing of a pathetic Poon. It was a bad week for Hambone as every other team at least got close but the Poonys were beaten like a drum in the top of the table clash.

At the other end of the ladder it was an invaluable victory for Honey Badgers who have been miles off it so far this season. The Badgers burrowed in a got the chocolates against the Captain who appears to suffer a setback every time they look ready to make some progress. Speaking of progress, FISH is once again swimming with the tide after a rocky start to the season. FISH won his second match in a row against top four opposition when he was too good for the REBCats who like Poony have now dropped two matches after a solid start to the year.

Mr reliable Hondo just keeps on getting the job done and his narrow win over Alaska is a critical blow for the Lions who are now mired in the relegation zone with one eye on the Badgers who are showing signs of life. Q has had a shocker so far this season and it's not the first time the Q man has flirted with the relegation zone but this time the lady herself might just flirt back. I'm not sure Q will be as keen when the Beer Goggles wear off.

Delicious has been the king of the close matches in recent times and his majesty ruled the roost on this occasion with Richo Richo coming up short. Inner Sanctum is gathering momentum with a brilliant victory over Twisties who were dead stiff to lose with that score. Twisties unlucky loss is good for Eckys, Sharks and Has Been who are on the fringes of the top eight. Poor old Mediocre is up in the top flight and the wheels have fallen off in recent weeks, an unusual situation for a team that is a regular on the winning lists throughout their Hogg career.

Danger VC 149 might give me a sniff against Has Been. We both have some dodgy rookies playing though so anything could happen

Felt unsure about Grundy as Captain due to niggle so it went to Coniglio (after a couple of beers). **** you Coniglio.

Stuck with Grundy. Hambone has it on Gawn but I'm backing myself in. Absolutely spewing about Coniglio sinking me against FISH last week. Normal service was resumed there. A lot of suckers bought him in as well but he's not on my radar. Dependulbury in for me at a nice cheap price should see off any Coniligio owners for the rest of the season.

Not that sure Hore gets up today. I only get Cumming's useless score if he does but at least it's not a donut.

FFS how did I lose that. Grundy 80 Pendles 67 **** off Collingwood youre drunk. I figured Grundy and Gawn would be close either way and Grundy didn't fire a shot today. Dead stiff for the third week in a row.

18 Honey Badgers 2 8 0 20287 21280 95.33 8

The REBCats have reverted to our traditional mid table battler role after an unaccustomed stay in the top four. Poon Illuminati somehow pinched our grudge match coming from behind on the Monday as the Cats’ Pie players failed. Benny still on top after his ninth win from ten outings with a solid 2100 score. Delicious and Longwood Lions also reached that mark which sees valleys into the top four and Alaska out of the relegation zone after Q tumbled to yet another luckless loss. Q is having an absolute mare this season and he could easily have two or three extra victories but as it is he’s second last with only two wins for the year. Hondo was conqueror this week with a much needed win to keep in touch with Benny and Poon at the top.

The battle for the eight is pretty tight as it always is in Premier League. Has Been has revived his hopes with some improved recent form as they upset FISH who got flicked from the top eight at the Beeners expense. Ecky also copped a heavy loss to Buddy Franklin who are starting to emerge as a possible threat to the top eight. Mediocre at Best continue to struggle coming off second best to Richo Richo who are making their move. Inner Sanctum made light work of the Sharks who don’t have Patrick Dangerfield which was not such a good move for this round. Captain Who and Twisties are treading water a bit so far this year and both sides are badly in need of a win. The Badgers remain stone motherless after a heavy defeat to the top side Benny Rolfs.

Irony is accepting that you'll absolutely tank the middle bye round (16 playing only), only to get to Sunday and look like getting your first win since Round 4.

I am 34 + Conglio vs Larkey. The only thing that can **** me now is Coniglio a late out.
