Murphy left his mouthguard at home, why it would ever come out of your footy bag I would never know, but anyway surely the medical team would have a back up of some sort, even if it is just one of the $10 chemist basic mouth guards? Im guessing he probably didn't let the medical team know.

Never played without a mouth guard. See plenty of blokes at AFL level without one though.

My mouth guard lived in my bag, infact 2 years after stopping playing its probably still in there today. Round 1 each year was a but dicey to open up the box and see what condition it was in after summer! Bit of a rinse and good to go haha!

Righto no doubt this will upset plenty of you but..

1. Jenkins - no sympathy from me here.. sure it's not great seeing injuries but FMD if you're going to choose to kick the ball out of the air instead of putting your head and shoulders over the ball and taking possession then you prob deserve what's coming. Absolutely piss weak effort.. he's lucky the game wasn't tight and that caused a turn over.

2. Everyone whinges about how there is no emotion in the game, players are becoming robots etc.. then Stack shows a little appreciation and respect to the Betts goal and everyone has a melt down! Media gone into meltdown, supporters freaking out.. spare me you spuds.

3. Who the hell doesn't wear a mouthguard?!? You're playing a contact sport at THE TOP LEVEL - surely apart from boots, a mouth guard is the very next thing you pack in your bag! DUMB C**T!

Anyone see the interview with Shane Mumford where his front tooth chipped off and was stuck in his mouthguard?

Where did i say i wished it on him?

Unfortunate, disappointing for him, rather it didn't happen.. but no sympathy from me. I wont lose sleep over it. Simple.

Nah, don’t like long term injuries that cost a year. Happy for blokes to cop little niggles that keep them out for a week when we play them on the other hand [emoji23]
