The other thing that's got me wondering.. seeing the Broadbent news yesterday, then saw an article that basically was along the lines of how much better the AFL is these days with Mental Health and dealing with it etc...

My query - they may be better at managing it when it comes out, but are they better at helping it from a preventative point of view? Feel like more and more we are seeing players being impacted and affected by mental health and cant help but think it's more a reflection of the environment they're subjected to.

I know plenty will say "oh poor them they earn 700+ k a year etc" but money doesn't alliviate pressure and how people think/operate.

Mental health > massive coin, as demonstrated by Tom Boyd.

Wouldn’t make our side with Curnow, McKay and McGovern as our tall/mobile forwards.
I’ll take Gibbs back though.

1. Jenkins - no sympathy from me here.. sure it's not great seeing injuries but FMD if you're going to choose to kick the ball out of the air instead of putting your head and shoulders over the ball and taking possession then you prob deserve what's coming. Absolutely piss weak effort.. he's lucky the game wasn't tight and that caused a turn over.

2. Everyone whinges about how there is no emotion in the game, players are becoming robots etc.. then Stack shows a little appreciation and respect to the Betts goal and everyone has a melt down! Media gone into meltdown, supporters freaking out.. spare me you spuds.

3. Who the hell doesn't wear a mouthguard?!? You're playing a contact sport at THE TOP LEVEL - surely apart from boots, a mouth guard is the very next thing you pack in your bag! DUMB C**T!

clearly you didn't hear JJ talk about the incident.

Surely he needs to be sacked. He has cost his club the chance of picking up Matt Rowell who looks to be another once in a generation player like Walsh. He could well be headed to the crowd now. Well done SOS.

I suppose to be clear, SOS actual title is GM - List Management and Strategy, Michael Agresta is the list manager who does have a clue and Agresta reports to him.

Had the best experience at an AFL game at Adelaide Oval last night (the best overall Adelaide Oval experience is still Darren Harris kick after siren) where met some great Richmond supporters and having fun watching the game together even though we were supporting different clubs, something I find easier to do in Melbourne than here.

Maybe as I am not your typical crows supporter who think every tackle is holding the ball, every free kick against them is wrong and as a South supporter, I can deal with losing, it easier to do it but I rather go to a game and have good banter with opposite supporters rather than the stories I heard of them being reported in past visits to Adelaide (via the mobile number) of cheering too loud. This was by Port supporters, which I was surprised as I could see crows supporters doing it as we are very sensitive ( ie banging on fences) but I thought Power fans were better than that.

C’mon Bedge. Take a look at your change rooms tomorrow before the team manager or whomever cleans it up. All players at all levels do the same as they don’t have pockets ;)
