WTF is it with umpires consistently wanting to give soft
as F**K Free kicks in front of goal ?

Just as UTTER DISGRACE !!!!
I concede that umpiring isn't the easiest thing to do in life but Sheesh, these guys just make shit up at times and see things that physically DONT HAPPEN

If they keep paying free kicks like that push in the back to Bruest then ‘bald headed flog’ might become the kindest phrase the umpires hear

Horrible game to watch. Few highlights, poor skills, junk umpiring. Barring Essendon’s 10 minute run in the 3rd qtr, this was one to forget.

Rubbish game for the most part but thought we atleast tried to take the game on and play football, it’s just our skills are pretty average.

Will he play on next year?

Its my opinion, we all have one and its what this place is based on.

I think so but would not be surprised if he retires
Never said you can't have an opinion mate all good

Given the blokes who could take his role ( Murphy, Jones, Gallucci, Stengle ) haven't made their case for selection every week just yet you would think he plays out the last year of his deal next year. Still getting his 12 or 13 touches and 1-2 goals a game, just seems he's not having the impact he was bringing team mates into the game that he did.

Stengle was 2nd in the SANFL goalkicking as of last week. He's having plenty of shots on goal, kicked a lot of points as well. I felt Eddie should have been dropped earlier in the season but his approaching 300th and then his bag of 6 probably saved him, Hoping to see Stengle get a game at some stage this year.

Re: Stengle, last I heard out of West Lakes was that his defensive action was miles short of what AFL clubs are looking for these days. That was a month or so ago, maybe he’s worked on it since then?

Pretty much conceding defeat, he's saying to Cameron and Fantasia he can't beat them fairly so resorts to that rubbish. It does work occasionally but is a terrible look.

Good to know. I haven't seen him play this year. Normally only see the Crows reserves if they play Sturt on a sunday.

Doesn't get any easier for Stratton then. Has there been a more inbred looking captain than him?
