How do 3 umpires not even know who layed the tackle.
If You are giving it holding the ball, at least make sure the bloke who lays the tackle is the one having the shot.

How is that a free against Himmelburg?

The game is absolutely f**ked because of irrelevant peasants that couldn’t play themselves.

I’m done with the AFL officially not renewing my season tickets next year.

Wasted your money then.

You'll be surrounded by wankers who go once a year on a free ticket with free piss who make arses of themselves because they think they can get away with it in the expensive wanker seats. Bar the top 25 rows in the nose bleeds there is no bad seat in the house, just some of them they suck people into paying more for. Marketing genius.

Three on Saturday :

Walters took possession, ran far enough to have two bounces, Burton gets hands on his lower back half tackles / half pushes and he gets a free for in the back.

Other end, Motlop dishes off to Burton who takes three strides, gets caught stone cold 5m from the umpire, play on.

Gray and Walters in the middle, Walters drags it in, Gray mounts him with bucking bronco hand in the air, umpire calls ball up. Gray "What?"
Ump "There was no tackle"

Baffling.

Friday night Guelfi bends down, picks up ball and is set upon immediately by two Hawks players. Razor Ray then pays HTB and says “You dived on it and have to make an attempt”

It's not like these guys make these mistakes on purpose. I think whats missed in all of this is just how bloody difficult it is to umpire todays game.

I thought it was HTB at the time, but would need to see again. if he bent down to collect a groundball as opposed to diving on it, it was probably harsh. If he dived on it, gathered it, stood back up but couldn't release due to a tackle then it's HTB imho.

Ridiculous! How can Gaz hit three blokes for one week while Stratton gets two for being a wanker? Should have been fined. The AFL have lost the plot. You might as well save money and piss off the MRP and just let the media do it because this particular case was dead set trial by media. A week for pinching? Turn it up!

Not the post I was expecting from you on this topic REB. I think Statts got 2 weeks for being a wanker myself, and they let him off the pinchy/pinchy stompy/stompy charges.

To think he has "out wankered" Sicily is quite an achievement really.

Kill it before it grows.
If he got off lightly for being a wanker, there'd probably be more wankers. The line on what is or isn't a hit is more difficult to define.
