England and India are clearly a level above the rest.

Any team with Starc and Cummins though has to have half a chance in a one off semi.

The semi's are going to be batathons with most teams having stronger batting line ups.

India have the strongest bowling attack for mine and therefore will win the cup.

Ridiculous innings from Morgan
Rasid Khan has struggled to make an impact in this tournament taking just the 3 wickets at an average of 74.66 with an economy of 7.03

I know they're probably not going to win a game, but the Afghans I think are going to gain great benefit by being able to play 9 games against stronger opposition. Invaluable experience for them.

Aussies aren't that far off the pace and and are right in this. Big chance the Poms will choke come the knockout stages.
I'm intrigued how little impact the spinners are having in this tournament.

Bullsh!t hey, I really wanted to watch NZ tonight. They had a washout against India and last played in the 8th of June against Afghanistan, not ideal.

Conditions haven't really suited the spinners either.
Imran Tahir has the most wickets for a spinner in the tournament at the moment (7th overall), 8 @25.62 at an RPO of 5.54

Typical English summer......

FYI Worcestershire has transferred its current county championship match away from their Home ground to a club ground within the County as their main ground is under water!

The Pommy curators are very stingy with the paint when marking their pitches.

Top 4 now done and dusted.

Do the semi finals have a back up day if they get washed out. If not the only interest left in the first stage of the tournament will be who can finish 1 & 2 and potentially get through to a final on a wash out.

If the Banga's knock off the Aussies the floodgates open up a little, they still get to play the Paki's and the Afghan's where the top have the following:

NZ 9 (5): WI, PAK, AUS, ENG.
ENG 8 (5): SL, AUS, IND, NZ
AUS 8 (5): BANG, ENG, NZ, SA
IND 7 (4): AFG, WI, ENG, BANG, SL
BANG 5 (5): AUS, AFG, IND, PAK

New Zealand were gifted the washout against India and have the two most inconsistent teams to play along with two powerhouses.
England may only win 1 more match, playing teams vying for a top two finish will determine how good they are.
Australia haven't hit top gear yet, they really need Lyon in the XI if they want a top two finish IMO.
India are the form side and will finish top then win the Cup through controversial circumstances, either way, will be deserved winners.
The Banga's will just miss out but will walk away with their heads held high.

So essentially there will be no interest in the games remaining.

Reckon the ICC will be a little bit disappointed as im sure they would have imagined some of the latter stage games being big 'cup deciding' games. Hasn't really turned out that way.

Judging by the draw they would've known the last week of the minor round games were a mere formality.

Most would've known that the Paki's, Sri Lankan's, Banga's, Afghan's and possibly Windies wouldn't feature in the finals yet they fulfill the last few minor round games.
