Gee Warner is very rusty here. Bangers bowling and fielding well though.

I don't really like the selection of Zampa and Coutler-Nile, think Lyon should of played and Richardson kept his spot but we'll see what happens. Redemption for Zampa at least

Finch won his first toss in awhile! Lost 9 in a row before this game.

Can some one let Davy know
(A) his spot is safe in the team
(B) we have 8 more batsmen left in the shed

I think I liked the old Davy... not as consistent but when he stayed longer than 20 overs he would have made more than a run a ball

Half the balls he has faced would be dots .... way too many. Just needs to rotate the strike if he is going to play this way.

I'd take a run-a-ball century from an opener any day of the week. We're 1/187 from 32 overs folks...

Thats one interpretation... I think he is trying TOO hard to show he is reformed. For what its worth he will be an absolute jet if he bats like this in the Ashes.

A run a ball makes for a team score of 300... not enough these days. We have wkts in hand. He can afford to fire up.

You'd want him to go at more than a run-a-ball now, but it's a bit harder in the first ten or twenty overs.

It's a very different game when the ball is new.

Mate the ball was new 36 overs ago.... his first 50 was about a run a ball. He did not step up when Finch went..against a very average medium slow part timer.

Davey starting to go hard as the run rate just climbs above 6
Run a ball 50 for Uzzie is encouraging
