You were spot on... It's been good, but 3 weeks is too long...

A week and a half in the office then over to NZ for a week. Got the boss with me this trip, which is always bad news for my liver.

Back in the office for 3 weeks then off on a tour of the sub continent.

Well I have made a stuff up with the Sub-Continent trip and I haven't even left yet..... turns out there are not 1 but 2 public holidays during the week I have earmarked to be in Sri Lanka...... FFS, one of them is to celebrate a full moon!

So I now have to either, bring the entire trip forward by 1 week to avoid the holidays, which involves cancelling & rebooking 6 flights, not too mention hotels, or taking the Sri Lankan leg of the trip out of it, and making a separate trip back to Sri Lanka later in the month.

That's actually very close!

July = NZ for a week + umpiring, but can find a week here for SL, will be short notice for my Indian colleagues, but "F them!.

August = Banga's & India 1 week, coming back to SA for a weekend, Wedding Aniversery.

Sept = NZ for a week, staff leave (I need to be in the office)

Oct = NZ again, plus staff leave

Nov = Perth for 1 week.

I wish I had a calendar of Active Wear girl photos.

Boardroom fridge is always stocked -

How hard is it uprooting and moving interstate for work?

I've got inside 4 hours to make a decision on applying for a role in Yatala, Queensland, most of me says be selfish and go for it, the reserved part thinks of all the real shit it could cause.

I would put the application in and do the logistics later. If it doesn’t add up you can always withdraw the application

Yeah, it does seem the sensible thing to do, it's within our company so on the other hand I don't want to be that person who says their fine with a big move but then gets cold feet.

I'm sure the financial incentive would make it well worth it, is being stuck by myself for 5 nights a week be too much, probably not.
