They have SA, WI and finish against India. By the time the last game comes round and India are entrenched at top spot, they’d surely rather play Sri Lanka than England in a Semi.

NRR wont come into it for Pakistan or Bangladesh against England, both had a washout.
I think the Pakis make the 4, England wont win another game. Serves themselves right for messing with their team to accommodate a West Indian. They were clearly the no1 team in the world pre the World Cup

Just watched a presso with the England Captain, the guy is seriously a tosser, basically saying his opening bowlers bowled alot better than the Australians and they were unlucky

Odd statement as the comments from Michael Atherton a former England captain were the complete opposite!

Delusional!
Their first 8 overs they only had 3 balls that would’ve hit the stumps. They bowled far too short

They didn't bowl real bad though, I thought Archer and Woakes bowled ok up front, asked some questions of Finch and Warner and were beating the bat. Morgan set some pretty aggressive fields aswell, England just some decisions and chances go against them and that's cricket. In hindsight we can say that back of a length was too short for that surface and Australia were in an ideal position batting first and could see the faults England made and therefore execute the right bowling plans to England.

I was real happy with Warner and Finch and they way they assessed the conditions and took their time building the innings as there was enough movement there for the bowlers. I think it was Wood who bowled too erratic when he came on and undid some of the good work Archer and Woakes started.

I watched Morgan's short presser and geez he didn't give the media anything, he seemed real grumpy haha

The similarities between 1992 and this world cup for pakistan are pretty crazy, literally the exact same so far. Could it be deja vu.

Without Williamson the Kiwis would be stuffed as their top order is very ordinary

See they asked him if he was scared of Starc and if he felt he was backing away? He denied that, pretty hard to refute the video footage, he is deadest ordinary against any good bowling. The arrogance is beyond belief through that whole interview, you would think he was Bradman, Tendulkar and Kohli all rolled into one

Also Michael Clarke needs to sort out his pronunciation of the English language, too many r's replaced with w's. Making us sound as illiterate as our friends from ucross the dutch.
