Not one Port supporter is surprised by that.

Cudos to the Dogs, they worked harder, played better wet weather football, worked harder inside, smarter on the outside and Bont and Daniel killed us.

Never seen a side scrap the ball forward with so much success.

Can ask why you aren’t by this??? You just knocked off the premiership faves and looked on the up. Seems like a cop out imo

Doesn’t sound like a cop out, more like exasperation in the gulf between his sides best and worse and how every time things start looking rosy his mob lets him down

I don’t think there’s any way that you could use this as a cop out. If any supporters club served up that continuous bullshit (especially 5 or more years of it) then you would expect something gets done about it. You’d be furious and rightly so.

Surely the All Australian selectors can’t blatantly ignore Ben Cunnington any longer...

Like clockwork that every time Port have a fantastic win they have a massive letdown the following week
I knew there was potential for it happen, Port are the most inconsistent team in the competition.

Only because Carlton are consistently shit

Seeing as it's the AA side they should be able to squeeze him into a forward pocket in lieu of a small forward who actually plays that position

How good was Bontempelli? I can't stand Bruce these days but he nailed it "looks like Bontempelli is playing a different game to everyone else". I thought he was quite remarkable.

Massive Showdown next Saturday. Port win and they join the Crows on 32pts and push further into the top 8. Crows win and they remain in touch with the top 4. Saving grace for Port is that they've gone Win/Loss/Win/Loss since Rd 9, so book them if for a win.

Can see why they are throwing $450k a year at a rookie ruckman yet to play an AFL game
