Yep most people think by growing and expanding their business they simply make more $$$'s. In many cases it just increases the risks. Ive had many business who turnover $2m say, I made more profit when I had sales of $500k and life was much simpler.

One of the other factors with builders, most that fail, start of as family or friends getting into business together.

This works well for some but is a disaster for many as tough calls (under performance, taking liberties, skills shortage, etc) are harder to deal with.

Paying one's self an unrealistic salary is another common business problem.

Why does Main North Road continually fluctuate between 2 lanes and 3 lanes?

There's plenty of room to be 3 lanes the whole journey and it would cut down on accidents, most occur at the intersections where they cut back, people are impatient and stupid.

It must be the Adelaide way, Port Wakefield Road and the Port Expressway are exactly the same.

He said one funny thing last night in the short time the TV remote was missing and the Logies were on.

For the sport logie thing, SBS won with soccer coverage, Gleeson said "I wouldn't know, I only watch SBS for the boobs"

Reece Watherston has been acquitted by a judge for killing Jack Hanley. He punched him, Jack is now dead, and the grub walks free.

Very difficult watching the mother speak after the verdict.

As I say to others, if it wasn't for the bouncer punching Hooksey, he'd still be alive.

Seems like they get off scot free IMO.

Seems like the Crown was unable to put to bed the possibility Watherston was acting in self-defense.

From the ABC's report:

In delivering her verdict, Justice Anne Bampton accepted that Mr Watherston inflicted the punch that caused Mr Hanley's death.

"The punch by Mr Watherston constituted an unlawful physical assault upon the deceased carried out in circumstances where a reasonable person would have realised that he was exposing the deceased to an appreciable risk of serious injury," she said, in her written reasons for verdict.

However, she said the prosecution had not satisfied her beyond reasonable doubt that she should reject Mr Watherston's version of events.

"The prosecution has not excluded as a reasonable possibility that Mr Watherston, when confronted by Mr Hanley at approximately 5:20 am on 10 December 2017, fought back because he believed he had to, and that that belief was reasonable and genuine, and that his conduct was proportional to the threat he perceived," Justice Bampton said.

Unbelievable, really.

Particularly given how much his twitter feed kisses their arse.

I'm guessing his detention is somehow related to Trump's recent visit with FatBoyKim, but I'm quite sure he'll never divulge exactly what happened or why.
