Bryce Gibbs played his last game for the Crows Friday night? What a fall from grace.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Interesting what they do with him.

In 2016 when they tried to get him he was 27 going 28 and playing some good footy, when they finally got him he was 28 going 29 and they thought they were still getting the 27 year old.

Now he's 30, out of favor, completely devoid of confidence and has two years to run on his deal at around $500k per year (or more if it's back ended) and they gave up picks 10 and 16 to get him.

They tried to improve their list and it failed. Getting 25-30 at Carlton skirting the packs clearly didn't work at Adelaide.
first year he was with us we were so hit with injuries it masked it.
Only chance moving forward is if a half backer goes down with injury and he comes in for them, otherwise he's a list clogger unfortunately.

Motlop to Crows
Gibbs to Power

They would be on similar coin, nothing to lose by doing this trade.

Really?
Motlop is terrible.
Surely Gibbs hasn’t fallen off the pace that much?

No doubt Crows went hard at Gibbs not just cause they thought he could help their mids, but as a PR exercise to show they could get someone back from Melbourne due to so many players going the other way in recent times.
