2019 Brownlow Medal

Postby Corona Man » Thu Jul 11, 2019 1:47 pm

I have had a go at Lachie Neale (Bris) at $4.50, Brisbane will win more than they will loose by the looks of it, and he has been a standout midfielder.

Had a quiet patch, Grundy for mine, or Boak.

It was more the outcome for me if he does, than the man himself.

But, if he wins it, I'll buy you a beer. :D

I’ve got Bont, Boak, Grundy and Fyfe in my Brownlow stable already, but think Lachie Neale wins it as things currently stand. Kicking myself for contemplating but not taking the $26 on offer early in the season. Same with Boak, have had small bets on him prior to season start the last 3-4 years but not this season (odds still good enough for a decent result though)

Reckon Cripps would be on atleast 15 at this stage, if he finishes off well and Carlton pinch a few wins then it's his.

GAJ and Danger attract umpire votes even when they play just a modest game

Agree. Kelly will have more blokes taking votes off him than Neale.

TKelly can't deal with a tag yet, his only good game in the last month was against the Crows were they let him run riot.

In no particular order I think Fyfe, T.Kelly, Neale and Boak at the pointy end. Grundy and Cripps in the next bracket.

Fair assessment. I'd add the Bont to Grundy and Cripps, Even Matt Crouch

I haven't seen a heap of Freo this season but from what I have seen Fyfe hasn't been as outstanding as previous seasons. That he avoided suspension for an elbow to the head leans me toward thinking he must have been around the mark in the Brownlow count at that time.
