Defeat ripped from the jaws of victory. Thank you cheating green maggots. To Centrals, you guys keep finding new ways to lose, keep it up.

2019 SANFL season, The Gift That Keeps Giving. It doesn't get any better, Eagles at Woodville next week.

5 games in 6 weeks of this Stinking Season left, 5 Losses.

This Centrals "team" is the worst in our history. Even worse than 1964 and they didn't win a game. If 2019 CDFC played 1964 CDFC, 1964 would win easily.

Come on North 2 wins and we can take the spoon.

no shit, you're the most miserable "supporter" I've ever encountered!
Bugger off and follow another team please.

What are you hoping to achieve? It's certainly nothing positive, so why do it. Your club would be pissed off if they could read your stuff.

At least the lads lost by 5 points and not the 12 goals you predicted.
And .. you won the lucky money draw!

I love my Dogs mate but the quality of my life does not hang on their results. Chin up fella.

Losing by 12 goals would have been better than losing like that. I won't be sucked in by them thinking they're going to win again.

I suggest you should not attend any more matches this year. It's affecting you far too much. Take up an activity that you can have control over. I am being serious mate.

Soft off the ball free kick against doggies when coming out of defence.

It was silly but hardly worth a reversal.

Well put. There was fighting all day, including 20-in scuffles at the 1/4 and 1/2 time breaks, but no action at all. Rough stuff all day, usually Aiden Riley vs a range of opponents, tackles turning into scuffles, more guys joining in, no action. The softest of them all 3 mins from the end and it's time to put a stop to this?

It's the first reversal I've seen this year, I was beginning to think you'd have to wield a knife to get one.

It seems to me that this year, the greater the baldness ratio amongst the 3 umpires, the worse the adjudication. This was a full 3-baldy game, and the umpiring standard was indeed poor all day, And that last 2 mins ... 5 times the Sturt guys dive on the ball in Centrals 50, all tackled, a bounce every time. Unbelievable.

don't whinge about losing because of umpires, not a good look. We lost because we're not good enough at the moment.

I'm not.
Credit to Danyl Pearce though. Centrals lad went down in a tackle (Corey Durdin?) and although the ball was still in the immediate area, Pearce went to his aid, appeared quite concerned and gesturing to the bench for help. Happily it appears no major damage but I think it worth mentioning Pearce's sportsmanship and sense of proportion.

Come on ‘fellas. It’s a game that takes up 2 hours once a week. Having lived through the SFC wooden spoon period, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.

Ease up, Groucho.
At the end of the day it’s only a game.

I lived through the first 36 years before the Premierships.

2000 - 2011 was so long ago it never happened.
We were a joke when we first started and we seem to be heading back to those days.

You enjoy losing? You wouldn't be upset losing 10 in a row? Especially when the last one was stolen by the Green Maggots when you thought you were finally going to win a game.

We had a go yesterday, worked hard. Usual suspects did their bit, Durdin looks a likely type. Robinson improved on last week, started to impose himself on the contest.

You could be onto something. We got the three baldy treatment against South and that was the worst umpired game I have seen for years.

And telling someone to neck themselves is great optics. But if you regret that comment, it's forgivable.

As for my original post :
    1. the discussion was about one game (see thread heading)
    2. on the day we were good enough (agree with you over the season). Do we need to be so good that the umps performance is irrelevant? How many opponents are we fixtured to play?
    3. on the day the umps were ordinary, and I think they impacted the result. I extrapolated a little to suggest it was not atypical for these particular baldies.

Were you at the game?
