Apparently, it looks pretty bad at the shopping/cafe precinct closer to the river but the Mildura Centre doesn't appear as bad, having said that, we stopped at Elizabeth prior to leaving on Friday afternoon and I was in complete shock whilst there, that smashes anything I've seen in Mildura.

Great win by the Lions, I was very apprehensive to back us with any confidence, I'm contemplating getting a Lions guernsey.

Do it now. It's Bastille Day, so you might also get a Lyon's shirt thrown in as well.

I put a bet on just as I left and then went to Dan Murphy's, they had two cartons of Stella in their cold room that had stickers on them reduced to $22 each, I grab both, I rated that and then when I got back into the car, the $4 bet I put on returned $420, a double-rater!!!!!!

I deserved it for going.

Not a fan of Mildura, then, LM?

Nope!!!! The wife goes every couple of months, I've been able to avoid it since a wedding in January 2018. All her family is there and most don't talk to each other, boring as f*** drive and chaotic catching up with everyone!

My record is 21 Corona's for the car trip.

Renmark to Mildura is the worst 100k's on the planet.

LMAO yep, I've always hated that stretch. Love Mildura though

If Mildura and Elizabeth are 1st and 2nd, Whyalla is a very close 3rd.

Every 2nd person there seems to be on something.

Have you been to Port Augusta? To be honest, you could probably say every country town these days. They are all full of nuffies thanks to Methamphetamine.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep

No

Yeah I have and to be honest it’s very much the same as Whyalla.
Given the proximity it’s probably the same people.

Yeah, I went to Whyalla quite some time ago, quite eerie, I had to take my shoes off to go in the shopping centre so I didn't feel out of place.

I don’t know how many people asked me for $5 but I was sick of it by the end.
I was only there 3 hours.

Yep, my wife manages the Whyalla branch of her work as part of her job and has to fly there a couple of times a month for day trips and can’t leave the place quick enough. She always has to pack a change of clothes in case of her flight being canceled and it was on her last trip. Being stuck in Whyalla overnight went down like a lead balloon:)

We've got }(or had) clients in some of these places. Never been to Moree, whats the issue with it?

Tennant Creek is definitely a stop in for a beer sort of place, just to say you've been there.

For some reason my old man loved the place in his truck driving days, must've picked up a stray or two there.

Wilcannia - once named the most violent town in Australia.
One of the pubs there (The Court House IIRC) served drinks through iron bars - like the old bank tellers.
Genuinely scary joint.
