Buddy’s comeback delayed for atleast another 2 weeks and McVeigh will miss a month after re-injuring his calf in the ressies on the weekend.

"Is this the lesson we want to teach our children? That when we don't understand something - we get angry and put our back up against a wall?"

Truly embarrassing.

This is hard to watch. #istandwithadam

Powerful doco.. brought me to tears - Probably coz it hits so close to home.

Think 3yrs being compressed to a bit over an hour really helped to show just how bad it was.

I forget who said it (Adam Simpson I think) but the perfect comment that summed it up was "At best it's bullying and at worst it's racist".

The people justifying their right to boo him (Newman, Jones, etc) think it's ok to bully someone into retirement anyway?

I didn't watch the doco but that quote from Adam Simpson is the nail on the head.

Personally i dont believe it was racism, rather mob mentality bullying.

Agree, but it gave a voice to those who wanted it to be racist also.

and why do you think people felt it was appropriate then to bully a guy for so long and basically beat him into submission?

If you don’t think there was no racial tones to any of it. Go watch the doco.

Waleed:“.the fact that Australia is generally a very tolerant society, until its minorities demonstrate that they don’t know their place. And at that moment, the minute a minority someone in a minority position acts as though they’re not a mere supplicant, then we lose our minds.

Not a truer word said.

No racism you say. Alan Jones, Sam Newman, Eddie and Bolt would probably agree with you

Because people are shit!! Mob mentality sucks and they are relentless. We see people bully people to suicide often.

Dont get me wrong their definitely would have been an element of racists who took their opportunity to join in but i dont think the initial 'booing' was for racist reasons.

Funnily enough, this is probably the most written comment i've seen over social media this morning!

All I say is put aside 75min of your time, sit down uninterupted and with an open mind and watch it from start to finish.

Opening up with ''i didn't watch it'' kind of dismisses the relevance of any comment you choose to make on it after that doesn't it!

Kind of like opening up with ''with all due respect'' before loading up with an insult.

My comment was on the situation

You can have an opinion on the situation without seeing the dock, it’s not the only information on it out there.

That’s like saying you have to read the advertiser to know the latest football news

BTW just because i believe the booing was primarily race related mean i agree with it. I think the booing was disgusting and become 100% bullying/harrasment just like we see on social media.
