Mr. Magoo you were right!

How sweet it is. The world is just that little bit nicer place this week. :D :) 8)

Well played blokes, I'm proud of you all. All played well. Best of the best in order were J.Schiller, East, T.Schiller, Menzel, Hoskin, Fort, Goodrem, Jenner Barreau & Gillard.

Good Game, especially as didn't notice any backwards kicking, sideways kicking, cirular hand balling or precise little kicks. Kicked longer to forwards and passes hit the mark and handballs hit the chest more often than not. Again Well Done Dogs!

Special mention to Jared Petrenko from the Eagles. He was waiting to interchange and I called out in a friendly manner without being nasty "Bob the Builder, can he build it, yes he can!"

He actually smiled and laughed and appreciated the joke, made me feel good too. What a good bloke. And a good sense of humour. :)

No way. Before today you’d won 6/7, with that loss being a close one.
You’re allowed a bad one like today occasionally.

Taking nothing away from the Dogs as they were far too good, but unfortunately other teams vying for a finals spot have not been having bad days against the bottom 3 teams. The bottom 3 have only won 3 games combined against the other 7 all season, and 2 of those have been against us. As bad as our 5-game losing streak was at the start of the season, these 2 losses are the difference between being in and out of the top 5.

From here, winning 2 of our last 4 might be enough if there's a couple of upsets elsewhere, or we could win all 4 and still miss out.

But if you're having to rely on results of other games with still a month left in the season, it's not looking good.

I keep saying this BUT..................we MUST keep this group together, there are some real future guns amongst them, together with a couple of kpp recruited I think they can go a long way in the next couple of years.
Trouble is, the new coach will receive the accolades. :(

Pup is a genuinely nice guy.

Worked with him on the Digital Pass last year and he is a top bloke, on and off the field.

Trouble? I'd say it's a strength.
Roy's departing gift to the Dogs may be his legacy for years to come. Did he not also inherit a pretty decent group of footballers?

Mass exodous ? Who was that ? I agree he inherited a great list and seemed to minimise usual turnover .

It was only time when those outs would hit the club.

Does anyone know how Central came to have such a long injury list? I thought it must have been the flu, but they are all down as ankle, hamstrings etc. we lost 10 senior players between the start of the Sturt game and the start of the WWT game. 4 from the league and 6 from the ressies. Ressies seem to have had one player, Lachlan Grubb, who played U18s on Saturday and Ressies on Sunday! Anyone know what happened?

I was stating that Roy didn't always have it "easy", as he suffered a mass exodus & still got us into grand finals.
