That was tough for you guys today, like a few weeks ago with us you got them when they were loaded up. They won't be as strong as that soon.

How so? Are you predicting injuries?

Several that played today can’t play finals

Got it, wasn't too specific. Motlop and Dixon would be the only ones who played today

Just off the top of my head:
- Only 17 AFL listed players max
- Must have played more SANFL than AFL
- Must have played 3 SANFL games post June 30th

Might be some others that I’ve missed

Add in listed blokes who need a tune up (post season surgery) so will go in ASAP so they can start the 2020 pre-season as early as possible to gove themselves the maximum chance to make Rd 1 in 2020 and those who dont want to risk injury as they believe there are other clubs out there that will offer them better options in 2020.

This is not unique to Port either
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

That would leave Dixon, if he plays the rest in the SANFL, Sutcliffe and Garner, providing they get dropped and play SANFL within the next 2 weeks, that would qualify for finals. I doubt all listed players would play anyway.

True, we didn't have much luck with the "AFL Reserves Lottery" this time around, and losing to the professionals sh*ts me no end. But we've been on the slide for a couple of months now, and just 1 win from the 8 games v STU/PA/NWD/WWT suggests we're not a finals calibre side in 2019.

I am sure they will ask for something that suits them. Is it true they cant sack Hinkley without AFL approval ? Has it got back to relying on others ?

Just aswell the AFL listed players aren't scattered across the SANFL clubs anymore then.

Maybe give every other player in the SANFL a set of $5k clubs and full time lessons and come back to all of us

Lessons

Will Auskick suffice. Give your players some credit FFS, I reckon they relish the opportunity.

What are we 6 years now and still no Port or Adelaide flag. Maybe we need the lessons

There was an interesting stat about the fittest players in the AFL in regards to kms travelled, sprints etc. Wasn't too many A graders topping the list from each of the clubs. Athletes don't necessarily make good footballers, they are a neccessity in the AFL landscape but in the SANFL game give me a footballer like Kirkwood, Summerton any day of the weekend.

You only haven’t won a flag because it’s not your priority. As soon as SANFL finals come around you make players unavailable.
At full strength you would win it most years

Night night . Our players love the opportunity . Us true supporters think its rubbish . How is that hard to understand. Whinge whinge whinge. I blame footy park.
