Just on this (probably should be in things I rate thread) but we flew to Perth last Friday & back on Sunday with Qantas. Both flights took off around 11:30ish - free booze both flights the whole time. Drank them out of James Boags Premium!

Over 2 hour flights ( Bris/Cairns/Perth ) I'll cough up ( or the boss will ) for Qantas. Entertainment, food, beer or two. Now, it never equates to the difference in flight cost from Jetstar to Qantas but just having it there, not arsing around with $8 for a can of something, just seems more civilized.

We're off to Mannum for the same gig, Sounds by the River.

Staying in Mannum, scored two rooms in the Mannum Hotel so when TLE are finished I can head back there and choose to or not to listen to Reyne and H&C.

I had one of their cd's, it is one of very few that I can listen to from start to finish without skipping a song, I reckon only Crowded House and Zeppelin share that trophy.
