Gazza's first ball was a ripper, fair bit of rip there! Ridiculous leave from Root, wow.

Siddle hitting some good lines here. I think he's also skidding it on a bit. That last one really surprised Root.

I would hardly say that was a stuff up

Even the aussies didn’t really consider a review or anything, it wasn’t a massive blunder.

In years gone by that would have hardly even been given out

Yep good lines from Sids and Lyon is looking dangerous, they just need some luck or a small mistake from Burns and Root. Burns is making Gaz look like a magician.

How the F**K anyone thought that was missing is beyond me.
Seriously just looked out
There are 3 stumps there, its not always have to be hitting middle half way up to be plumb
100 times easier to give than giving Broad LBWs bowling around the wicket and not straightening the ball at all and going down leg by a mile
Utterly USELESS INCOMPETENT umpiring at its best
PATHETIC

And another mistake.
The noise was actually the stump being hit but bail stayed on

Surely they can’t be blamed for that!!! It made the biggest noise and it definitely wasn’t pad. The umpire could never predict the noise which wasn’t pad was wicket

Turds can not be polished.

This is the worst display of umpiring ever. Thinking its not or trying to protect it is a lost cause.

Lol

So when watching it live you thought nah that’s not out it hit the stumps not the bat or pad

It made a ‘woody’ sound and beat the outside of the bat, off course the umpire gave it!

My first thought was it hit the stumps. Is it time with the other technology used to have the bails light up when the stumps are hit?

Just got to keep plugging away. Bowling well with not one ounce of luck. Burns looks likely to get out any stage.

No. Gave it no great thought. My comment was about their overall performance.

I am in my lounge room.

These two are supposedly in the best position to make decisions.

DAR is an ordinary umpire at his best and Wilson is nowhere near being suitable,
