Commiserations to Inner Sanctum and Chicken Twisties who have been knocked out of the title race, and congratulations to Ben Roflsburgers and Poon Illuminati who have the week off before the preliminary finals. Here are the weekends results and the finals draw:

Well done Fish. Looking at the matchup on paper I was confident of getting the win with you playing Duursma, Hoff, B.Smith & Answerth but modest returns from Boak, Gaff, Stewart and Daniel and Mundy spudding it finished my season.

Yep your PODs didn't really fire except for Houli. Duursma, Zilliams and Heeney were the heroes for me :D

I was stuck between a rock and a hard place when Birchall went down. I have some cash to use to trade but needed to trade Birch next week over trying to cover Dylan Clarke on field this week as was my first plan. Damned Josh Kelly forcing me to run Clarke on field for 4 weeks.

So I needed to suck it up and hope things worked out which I knew was unlikely and that is how it turned out. I had predicted I had 50 points up my sleeve but that was with Birch around 90 and Worpel around 100. Then I was hoping for at least 70 out of Clarke versus the 37 he served up.

So on to this week instead … the double chance afforded me a small luxury to hold back the trade which I think may have given me a win this week but messed up things from then on.

Was def a nice win and almost brought in birch friday night for ryan which would have changed things a fair bit. Worpel played a blinder so was able to hold on with a little help from toby greene.. another one i had earlier in the season and traded back in like cogs and dunkley!

A week off but still working out what to do with ryan down back as logue and answorth wont cut it! Probably bring in laird which i was planning on doing until hondo got that clarke score and i could take it a bit easier..

It's going to be an interesting matchup this week our teams are very similar only six uniques and most play Friday night or Saturday arvo, so it might be all but over before Saturday night. Hoping Kelly is OUT for another week ;)

Good for me as Hondo has him and I don't. Hondo also has Birchall.

And neither of them can be used as loophole donuts

Congratulations to Poon Army, way too good for my side and deserved Grand Finalist.

The 2 best sides are playing off for the Premier League Title.

Benny Rolfs to take it out for mine.

On paper leading in I was predicted to be in front, Then his Salem goes for 61 v expected 96 and I'm feeling good.

Then bang, bang my PODs roll out like this : Hawkins 40, M Crouch 56, Laird 77 and then Pendles with almost 40 possessions only gets 89.

I'm then predicted 50 behind and my only hope is Sicily to go huge … and he throws up 47.

Last week to this week comparisons:

M Crouch 163 - 56
Sicily 140 - 47
Hawkins 104 - 40
Pendles 138 - 89

None of those players are slouches. Granted Hawkins like any KPP is prone to a low score.

Ben R's had Salem down as said and then Duncan underperformed so he was ripe for the picking and I would have easily backed in 100 more points (my losing margin) across those guys.

Anyway, well played to Ben R's. From my POV I had a full premium squad and didn't pull any trade clangers in the round to stuff myself up. Just had a handful of players who were PODs decide to go missing on me at prelim final stage.

Why didn't Hawkins and Pendlebury spud up last week against me
