We're off to Mannum for the same gig, Sounds by the River.

Staying in Mannum, scored two rooms in the Mannum Hotel so when TLE are finished I can head back there and choose to or not to listen to Reyne and H&C.

In the Marg vicinity again...

Getting back to SA next weekend. The original plan when I booked flights etc was to see my lads last game of footy. Not to be as he "pulled the pin" mid season after coping an injury, and now he is getting ready for cricket. Oh well, still be good to catch up with family & friends when we are there for a few days.

Yep, same. Was going to do the Seppeltsfield one but that's on a Sunday.

The missus is an Aussie Crawl/Reyne fan, I love H&C along with Baby Animals, I don't mind BCO, Killing Heidi and The Angels, I like one Living End song.

I'm a fan of all bar The Living End (who I don't mind). If Dragon took The Living Ends spot & add Barnesy/Mossy/Chisel it would be my ultimate line up of great Aussie pub band rock. I think I've seen them all individually except Killing Heidi.

The Living End are fantastic, never been to a bad gig.

Also saw James Reyne despite not being a huge fan of his at Colonnades not long after he was playing in front of tens of thousands overseas at a crowd of about 20 and he was still fantastic. Blew me away.

Have seen Killing Heidi, the Baby Animals and Boom Crash Opera in their day and they were all OK.

Never seen Hunters and Collectors but always giggled at the joke " What's the difference between an rhinoceros' and Hunters and Collectors"? The rhinoceros' have the horns at the front and the arsehole at the back".

I wouldn't piss on the existing so called "Angels" if they were on fire and I was one of their biggest fans for many years, even got an invite and went to the Town Hall to witness them getting a key to the city. The way they treated Doc Neeson was a disgrace and it was no coincidence none of the existing so called Angels got a gig at the Rock for Doc event when Doc was dying of brain cancer. Its also no coincidence Buzz Bidstrup their original drummer doesn't have anything to do with them too.
Just a poor cover band these days. Only the lead guitarist Rick Brewster was in their best line up IMHO. Was also a great band with John Brewster but the rest have no rights to be called The Angels. No Doc no Angels.

Heading over to Bendigo this weekend to play for the Dragons.

Bit of spice added, as the team we're playing, the Western Crusaders, havent lost a game in two years, and I may or may not have been supposed to be playing for them.

I forgot to let them know I was sticking with Bendigo until last week.

Gonna be interesting.
