Exciting times! This team is on a mission, very bought in to Langers strategy.

They will manage Pattinson after his long lay off

Yeah, must have missed his first innings where he looked clueless against the moving ball

It crushes a few people that he succeeded

This equals series over. We have no one to match his class especially in england. Only hope is to produce raging green seamers and make it a 200 run each innings game and see what happens.

The issue with that is if you lose the toss then you’re cooked. It’s all well and good to prepare green tops like the last tour, however if you lose and you’re sent in then the plan has backfired. Such high risk.

Rather refreshing to be honest.

Only thing that was against Marnus was his 1000 runs was in division 2 of the County Championship. If he had scored it in Div 1 he would have been picked
But it is more difficult to get into the side from Division 2.whufc wrote:heater31 wrote:whufc wrote:The only move left to complete the horses for course side would be to see Labaschagne come in for Khawaja.

True, but the gap in the two division isn't overly a lot. It's not really like the EPL etc where the standard drops away dramatically and generally has no bearing on selection.
Look at the English bowling line up:
Anderson- Lancashire Div 2
Broad- Nottinghamshire bottom Div 1
Woakes- Warwickshire second to bottom Div 1
Ali- Worcestershire Div 2
Stokes- Durham Div 2
