Had for our main bills, savings etc. Had separate ones for personal expenditure, a night out would end up in meaning I've used the wrong card or dipped into it thinking it would be unnoticed.

Have since just calculated who pays what bills to make it quite even and what we do with the rest is our own business, I'm loving it, it did bite me on the arse though when she got a EOFY bonus of around $2K or something like that, I had to suck that one up.

Nothing in that comment about being a gold mine for Port. Was a reply to your comment and negativity about spending $600m of taxpayers money to develop the oval, which has paid dividends to the SA economy. Take your blinkers off, nice digging though.

So it’s paid everyone involved back in spades. Apart from Port a leaseholder at the oval.

Makes perfect sense LMA.

It should of been obvious to all the moment PAFC attempted its ill fated parliamentary enquiry into the revenue out of Adelaide oval that PAFC were going broke.

Even more puzzling is sma needing to place a revenue generating hotel at Adelaide Oval when it already generates so much revenue.

I know you believe you are right all the time and come across almost like you are Roy Laird at times, which had made me wonder, but what i am trying to say I believe this all ends in one place. Which actually points me to this point, Caro came out with the Port finance issues right, I just finished the most recent age podcast and she is such a Port apologist it's not funny. Tears others to shreds, but not so much Port, so I would wonder if Port are feeding here info. Why would they do this, pressure on the stadium deal which I believe is the target of all of this.

Maybe it's a wild conspiracy, but geez the whole thing seems odd at the moment.

The SANFL and the SMA just need to cover themselves and bunker down I think.

Good questions Stan.

I doubt SMA would have anything to hide if so we would of heard about it at the parliamentary enquiry.

SMA like the SANFL previously are just easy targets for blame imho. Not SMAS fault 10k port fans couldn’t give a toss anymore or an investment in China isn’t as successful as forecasted.

That’s squarely on PAFC.

I doubt Koch/KT are happy the news about players not being paid is out. Not a good look for a club desperate to attract new sponsors.

I’m guessing but I would assume a players manager leaked it to Caro about the non payments. But could be wrong.

Why would the Sa gov loan SMA money for the hotel if they were dodgy ??

Why do SMA need the hotel if Adelaide Oval is bringing in the big bucks ?? Maybe the crowd drop off is so concerning future revenue forecasts aren’t looking that good atm.

Maybe.

The SANFL have 4 representatives on the SMA board, SACA have 4 representatives on the SMA board.

None of them own the licences of the two AFL clubs, the two biggest money spinners for the stadium.

Is it in their interest to give the two AFL clubs the best possible return?

I'd say Lycett and Motlop probably come in, Ladhams and Butters go out.

Duursma is still to be assessed, he may or may not come up.

Of course not but both the SANFL and SACA had to give up a lot to allow AFL to move to AO so it’s only fair that they both benefit from it.
I don’t know the exact tenant agreement but I keep hearing that the WA clubs get a pretty decent deal but both of those are still controlled by the WAFC?
I think the two SA clubs have a similar stadium deal as the majority of the Marvel tenants which is owned by the AFL.

Crows reporting profits in the millions since the move.

Which would rule out SMA ripping everyone off theory. Due to SMA being a constant for both clubs not a differential.

As Dutch stated port had a choice to pay off debt or further increase expenditure on their football dept in search for premiership glory. Thinking a premiership would solve all financial woes.

They have failed to deliver and are now facing the consequences.

Nothing to do with SMA.
