Thankfully the last game of this Godforsaken season. Hooray! =D> :supz:

Unfortunately can't beat full time professionals. Evil ones by 10 - 15 goals but Centrals will play their best and give everything.

The Part time professionals to win this one. Lycett and Motlop could earn recalls weakening the side significantly. Dogs by 11pts

Well will be interesting if this happens and no one replaces them.

Are the CDFC promoting the hell out of this game to get a huge crowd? Should get 5k minimum

there are other sites on facebook regarding the club & this coming match, lots of interest being shown, although Roy won't want all the fanfare & ceremony.

It's not up to Roy. The club should lay on a day of celebration to befit the occasion.

Doesn't look to be a popular decision, does it?

Not popular with me.

I get that most likely Lairdy doesn't want a fuss created which is why im not angry, up in arms etc. I still respect the bloke and consider him to be Centrals Great All Time Legend.

Just disappointed imo the club has been making a lot of decisions alienating it from its fans in recent years and this is just another small punch to the arm. 100 small punches to the arm start to bruise after a while.

Sadly abit like my perception of Port I feel Centrals has slowly drifted away from its working class roots and is not the club for all Northern Burbs people like it once was. The fact a lot of people were saying 'you can say your goodbyes at the B&F' was a classic example of the shift imo.

Unless Roy doesn't go to the B&F either.

Either way, it's going to be a big day, there's already about 250 people booked in to the President's Luncheon (normally for a game like this there would be about 70 or 80), I imagine that there will be around 5,000 people at the game too.
Don't be too premature in attacking the club about Roy not doing the after match presentations either, it might not have anything to do with the club. If Roy has quit as coach, you can't make him do it.
The same as the B&F, you can't make him attend that either.

I would have thought there would be promotion everywhere for this game, but there is nothing apart from telling fans to go home straight after the game.

Roy deserves a massive crowd and send off, 5,000 minimum but at this stage I doubt they will get 3,000.

The club has missed a great opportunity to take some momentum from Saturday into 2020.

Time for Kris Grant to sail off into the sunset also?

Yeah im definitely think this is more than likely a request from Roy rather than the club. In saying that recent management history suggests to me the club would love the fact they are able to take the easy option which seems to be a theme at the club in the last 5 or so years.

My biggest critism of the club has been there appears to be a lot of excuses from them but hardly any action, just a couple that come immediately to mind are:

-The crowds are down because of the AFL reserves / ticket prices (probably true) but the club has imo done next to nothing to improve this other than at one point take away loyal supporters amenities.

-We cant get recruits now because its all too hard.........….....yet other clubs are seeming to get them and it wasn't a problem in the 2000's

Does the corporate box even get used these days....or does that sit there wasted? Not sure how it is possible to lose money on such a service, entry price is directly related to the booking expense cost, you literally just mark up the price XXXXX amount of dollars. Now that its built there would be no overheads other than switching one light on and a couple of fridges when its been used. It was a square box room there would be next to maintenance/up keep requirements on it.

Thousands on thousands spent on their lap pool which they hardly use because they use the Aquadome across the road still.

The light tower fiasco.

The outcry over this is huge, methinks this decision will be overturned by people power!! (and a little help from one of the players)
