Why would they do this? Makes no sense at all, imagine if he wins the B&F and exits?

Midfield slow as treacle and one of the Crouch’s or Sloane probably has to go so I’d think that because Brad has only got a year to go and will be a FA they are testing the waters rather than lose him for bugger all next year. If they could turn Brad Crouch into say Lukosius that would be a huge win

Not the first time the club has made a dick move and wont be the last, So wouldn't be surprised if he moves on.

Or how about giving Crouch a long term deal to stay and make a hard call on Sloane?

Retiring though

Top fella, has squeezed every ounce of talent in his body to play 240+ games of AFL footy.

Not the flashiest or best player but the sort of player every club needs to do the hard yards.

Well played Dougie, well played.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Remember when Gunston won the emerging talent gong at the crows, they got wind of him leaving, and awarded it to Jaensch?

Because they have to give up something to get something. Don't think anyone at the Crows should be exempt from being offered up if they get the right deal.

Maybe he told them last year but they couldn't get a deal done? ;)

Hawks are still a chance of finals and Clarko is up in Sydney for 2 days chatting to Coniglio who’s GWS side is also in the mix.
It happens now and no problem with it. There would be blokes who have had an in principle agreement with another club for weeks if not months

Brad is the better of the Crouches imo

I’d get rid of Matt first

Matt has 2 years remaining of his contract.
Brad has 1 and can walk at the end of next year.
Clubs will try to cash in while they can

Otten retired, Douglas retired , most likely Mackay retiring tomorrow, Jenkins seemingly gone with some or all of his pay going with him, why not keep Brad and add another player with pace into the squad? Disappointing if they are forcing him out for a high draft pick unless they are making a play for Coniglio - but he's not coming to Adelaide.
