Our score is better than I expected and if we get the same conditions for Day 2 we will skittle these jokers and have a lead

We'd have a lead of 150 if conditions were the same!

Ive been flicking to the footy, so your saying Hazelwood had 2 fa at one end and our captain thought he'd change the ends?

I would have thought either or both bowlers asked.

Hazelwood has bowled from the same end, he just skipped an over:

8th over Hazelwood
9th over Cummins
10th over Lyon
11th over Cummins
12th over Hazelwood

That theory blown.

Paine as Captain (not) theory enhanced.

Leeds looks like a great ground to watch cricket, not a bad seat in the house, put that in the memory bank for a few years time

Appears to be quite a wide ground like the Oval (the London one). Not sure what it'd be like square of the wicket - seems a fair way away. I've never seen cricket on a really wide ground except for the WACA, but in that case I was at an end so can't really comment. The Yorks. pavilion seems a long way away.

Fair point - I'll see myself out!

I must've seen '2nd drop' and read '1st drop' - did he come in at 3 at Birmingham?

When bowling to Denly, Hazlewood should channel his inner DK as he allegedly said to Lamb at Perth in 1982, “ Look just hold the bat ******* still and I’ll just aim at it....”
