It's hard to think of an Australian captain who's contributed less.

Large role played in turning our Team Culture 180 degrees in 12 months. Did it better than anybody else available at that time.

Sure hes likely to be replaced over the next few months but he deserves respect.

Get a wicket in the first 40 minutes B4 the new ball and we will be back on top. These two bats are Englands best.

For someone with such a great record Lyon sure is inconsistent as a 4th innings match winner when even dud spinners normally flourish.

In his defence he was spending part of his time avoiding right hooks from Hoggy!

Starting to get nervous, Root obviously the vital wicket obviously and need to get Stokes before he gets in as he can take the game away from the Aussies in a session.
Absolute class from Root, been so out of form it's embarrassing and quite unbelievable but to play an innings like he's played when his team's needed it most is something special.

Well played TDK, given opposition credit is non existent on this site, it’s normally excuses and reasons why.

Wow. Throwing this away in a damn hurry. Hindsight is great but maybe should have kept the old ball. Thought the Root wkt was the turning point but right at this minute England are now favourites to win. Am seeing the bowlers throw up some of the worst deliveries in 3 matches.

Need cool heads here, we seem to be rushing and trying too hard. A couple of maidens would be handy.

Done and dusted.
This game is over.
Our strength all series has been our quicks. Now with the Ashes in our grasp they collectively conspire to bowl up the greatest smorgasbord of tripe all tour.
England to not only win but also gain massive traction from this.
